Padiglione Cina
Per me è un onore essere l’architetto che ha progettato questo importante Padiglione anche perchè questa è la prima volta che la Cina partecipa a un’Esposizione Universale con un Padiglione self-built. Abbiamo messo molto impegno in questo progetto e siamo molto soddisfatti dell’intensa collaborazione italiana alla costruzione dell’edificio. Per me questo progetto è un’espressione contemporanea della cultura tradizionale. Abbiamo lavorato molto su materiali e strutture con contributi da tutto il mondo, Beijing, New York, Los Angeles, Italia.. è un progetto veramente globale. I nostri Skype meeting sono molto frequenti e densi, discutiamo da più o meno otto diverse parti del mondo cercando di trovare buone soluzioni per l’edificio. È davvero molto stimolante e per questo il padiglione della Cina sarà uno dei più complessi e, sicuramente, uno dei più interessanti.

Chinese Pavilion
It is an honour for me to be the architect who designed this important pavilion, also because this is the first time that China takes part in a Universal Exhibition with a self-built pavilion. We put great effort in this project and we are very satisfied about the intense collaboration we established with Italy to build it. For me this project is a contemporary expression of traditional culture. We worked a lot on materials and structures with contributions coming from all over the world: Beijing, New York, Los Angeles, Italy… It’s a truly global project. Our Skype meetings are very frequent and dense, and discussions take place from eight different locations on the planet, with the objective of finding good solutions for the building. It is really stimulating, and for this reason the Chinese Pavilion will be one of the most complex and, without a doubt, interesting.
