Siamo qua da 15 anni, questo terreno è nostro e per noi Expo è stato positivo per tutti gli operai che sono venuti qui durante il cantiere, 150/200 a mangiare tutti i giorni, a bere il caffè… raccontandoci tutte le vicissitudini all’interno, i ritardi… un problema grosso è stata l’assenza all’interno di punti di ristoro. Anche dopo Expo noi rimarremo qua a fare il nostro lavoro, sicuramente una volta finito almeno durante lo smantellamento ci saranno un migliaio di operai che lavoreranno per demolire tutto. Che poi demolire è un peccato…

We’ve been here for fifteen years, this piece of land is ours and Expo for us has been positive because of all the builders coming during the construction works, 150/200 eating every day, drinking coffee… telling us all the ups and downs from within the site, the delays… a big problem was that there were no bars or restaurants on-site. After Expo is over, we will continue doing our work; without a doubt, at least during the dismantlement there will be a thousand workers demolishing everything. Although it’s a real shame that they are tearing it all down…
