Design on the road
Sono una designer e mi occupo di progetti multidisciplinari e trasversali. Un’esperienza ideata dal mio studio e avviata ancora prima di Expo è “design on the road”. Un progetto che nasce dal restauro di un vecchio furgoncino Volkswagen degli anni Settanta con cui ho viaggiato per tutto il mondo insieme ai miei genitori durante la mia infanzia. Stiamo realizzando un film on the road che parla di design in Europa e che si concluderà a Milano con Expo. Così il furgone che per tanti anni ha viaggiato, oggi restaurato, rimarrà per una volta fermo a Milano ad accogliere i visitatori. In parallelo documenteremo l’evoluzione di Expo in questi sei mesi. Un evento magico e temporaneo in continuo mutamento.

Design on the road
I’m a designer and I work on multidisciplinary and cross-platform projects. “Design on the road” is one of such projects, and was created and launched by my company before Expo started. The project began with the restoration of an old Volkswagen minivan from the 1970s that my parents and I used to travel all over the world when I was a child. We are making an on the road film about design in Europe, which will end in Milan with the Expo. Thus the van that has been travelling for so long will finally stop in Milan and will welcome visitors. At the same time, we will document the evolution of Expo during these six months: a magical and temporary event that is constantly changing.
