Sono entrata in Nussli come assistente del direttore acquisti per quel che riguardava gli acquisti legati ai progetti Expo. Sono anche l’assistente del capo operazioni, colui che supervisiona la funzionalità e la manutenzione di tre Padiglioni, USA, Kuwait e Vanke. Siamo tutti nella frenesia più totale e mi diverto tantissimo. Ho imparato molte cose, anche a conoscere me stessa lavorando in un contesto internazionale molto serio e determinato. Ho scoperto che questo è quello che voglio fare nella mia vita. Expo è un progetto maestoso, controverso sicuramente a livello di immagine pubblica ma tutti gli scetticismi, che anche hanno ragione di essere, vengono spazzati via dall’impatto di queste opere. Perchè c’è dentro tutto il sudore delle persone, ci siamo massacrati di lavoro ma con piacere. Tutti con un unico obiettivo prefissato, tutti lavorando nella stessa direzione e questo è per me grandioso.

I began working for Nussli as the assistant to the supply manager for purchases linked to Expo projects. I’m also the assistant to the head of operations, who supervises the functionality and maintenance of three pavilions, USA, Kuwait and Vanke. We are all in a mad frenzy and I am having loads of fun. I’ve learned many things, and I’ve come to know myself better, by working in an international context, with very serious and determined people. I’ve discovered that this is what I want to do. Expo is a grand project, and a controversial one in terms of public image; however, all doubts, which are understandable, are cast away by the impact that these structures have. Because in them you see the hard work of all the people involved, we wore ourselves out but we did it with pleasure. We all had one goal, we all worked for the same result, and this for me is great.
