Il 31 marzo 2008, il giorno in cui Milano ha vinto su Smirne e si è aggiudicata Expo 2015 noi eravamo presenti. Da quel giorno abbiamo iniziato a portare in giro per il mondo la bandiera usata per i festeggiamenti, ed è così nata l’idea del video Expo in the World. Siamo stati i primi a credere in Expo, in quel periodo a Milano mancavano progetti, una visione del futuro quindi il fatto che ci fossimo aggiudicati Expo ci è sembrata subito una grande occasione. Io in particolare non sono amante degli eventi sportivi e sicuramente tra le Olimpiadi ed Expo preferisco Expo perchè è un evento che dura molto di più, il tema è molto bello, declinabile in tantissimi modi ed è più coinvolgente per la città. Di sicuro alla fine di tutta questa esperienza si penserà finalmente a Milano come a un luogo in cui si possono fare progetti internazionali, e anche cose divertenti!

UrbanFile – Expo in the World
On 31 March 2008, the day Milan won over Smirne and was awarded Expo 2015 we were there. From that day on we began to take the flag used for the celebrations around the world, and that’s how the idea for the Expo in the world video started. We were the first ones to believe in Expo, at the time Milan was lacking new projects, a vision of the future, so winning Expo immediately seemed a great opportunity. I am not particularly passionate about sporting events and without a doubt between the Olympics and Expo I prefer the latter, because it’s an event that lasts much longer, the theme is much more beautiful and can be interpreted in many ways, it involves the entire city. For sure at the end of this experience we will think of Milan as a place where international projects can be set up, and also fun things!
