Vivo nella capitale, Astana da circa 15 anni ma sono nata nel nord del Paese. Da piccola amavo dipingere e quando mi trovai a dover decidere cosa studiare scelsi design quasi per caso. Il quinto anno decisi di andare in Giappone a studiare perchè una mia sorella viveva già lì da quattro anni. Quando lessi la prima volta dell’Expo di Shanghai e vidi i Padiglioni dal design così incredibile partii immediatamente per visitarlo e tornai più volte. Sono rimasta così impressionata che quando Astana ha vinto Expo 2017 mi sono detta: voglio assolutamente essere parte di questo progetto. Ho così iniziato a lavorare per Expo 2017 fin dal primo anno e sono ormai tre anni. Sono anche entrata nel team per l’organizzazione di Expo 2015, sono responsabile degli eventi per il Padiglione e con i miei colleghi sono parte di un programma di collaborazione e scambio di know-how con il team di Expo 2015 che ci preparerà per Astana 2017 il cui tema sarà: Future Energy.

I’ve been living in the capital, Astana, for about fifteen years, but I was born in the North of the country. I loved to paint as a child, and when I had to pick what to study I chose design almost by chance. During my fifth year I decided to go study in Japan because my sister had been studying there for four years already. When I read about the Shanghai Expo and saw the pavilions’ incredible designs I immediately decided to go there, and I returned few times. I was so impressed when Astana won the right to host Expo 2017, I said to myself: I absolutely want to be part of this project. And from the first year of preparation to Expo 2017, almost 3 years I am in the project. So I joined the team working on Expo 2015; I am in charge of events at the pavilion and with my colleagues I work on a programme aimed at collaborating and exchanging know-how with the Expo 2015 team, in preparation for Astana 2017, the theme of which will be: Future Energy.
